Purchase 4-AcO-DET HCL Online USA
4-AcO-DET HCL , also known as 4-acetoxy-det is a psychedelic compound of the tryptamine family, being first developed by Albert Hoffman in 1952. It is a somewhat obscure tryptamine that has been growing in popularity with the research community due to its psychoactive effects that closely resemble those of psilocybin. It is the acetylated version of 4-HO-DET and the higher homolog of the more popular 4-ACO-DMT and 4-ACO-MET.
Also known as ethacetin and ethylacybin, 4-AcO-DET has been used as a replacement for psilocybin mushrooms in individuals who experience digestion problems when ingesting the mushrooms for religious practices or ceremonies. This being said, it is not approved for human consumption, and its toxicity profile is not known.
Chemical Properties Of 4-AcO-DET
Chemical Formula: C16H22N2O2
Full Name: 4-Acetoxy-N, N-diethyltryptamine
Molecular Weight: 274.36 g/mol
Purity: >98%
As with all tryptamines, 4-AcO-DET has a core structure consisting of a bicyclic indole heterocycle attached at R3 to an amino group. It is an N-substituted diethyl homolog of psilocin (4-HO-DMT), with which it shares several chemical properties. Although it is unclear exactly how this compound produces psychedelic effects in users it is believed to be a result of its ability to bind at the 5-HT2A receptor. Normally, the powerful neurotransmitter Serotonin would bind to this receptor. Because 4-AcO-DET is a partial agonist of the same receptors, it likely causes disruptions in the normal functioning of the serotonergic system.
